THE SETTING

Experience an exceptional Victorian former mill owner’s House and Estate, set within acres of gardens and grounds. Crow Hill is nestled on the edge of the National Trust Marsden Moor Estate, 6000 acres of unspoilt valleys, reservoirs, waterfalls, peaks and craggs.

The bustling village of Marsden is just a few minutes away, with shops, as well as the train station and its excellent rail links to Manchester, Leeds and beyond.

Crow Hill is a quintessential English country house, lying in a beautiful, secluded, rural location,in some of the most unspoilt countryside in Britain. We have been hosting impeccably stylish weddings for over ten years and welcome guests from near and far. We offer an individual

approach to luxury in an historic setting with modern comforts.

Crow Hill is steeped in history with a list of illustrious guests who have stayed including Vaughan Williams, who reputedly was inspired to compose “Larks Ascending” after his visit, and in more recent times, Rufus Wainwright, who too found inspiration at Crow Hill to compose his first opera.
